This is largely because both within and without the Jewish world, ignorance abounds and erroneous and misleading information is frequently presented as fact. Compounding this is the lack of a well-organized global outreach effort to correct these misperceptions and inform the public.

The non-Jewish population of the world lacks vital person-to-person contact with engaging, articulate, and knowledgeable Jews. The world’s pro-Israel community lacks invigorating discourse and energizing thinking regarding the future of Israel as the Jewish homeland. The Jewish community lacks a viable medium to discuss Jewish life and the Jewish state in all its complexity.
